I meant to mention this for some time but it keeps escaping me and I 
haven't had time to verify whether this was adressed in the newest 
IDE. When plugin manager tries to open a stack via alias and the file 
the alias points to is missing, a crash may occur. There should be a 
check added. I think something like

if there is a file (the aliasReference of file plguinfilepath)....
