GIF doesn't display properly

Hello List,

An odd behaviour I'm trying to figure out. When setting the fileName of an
image object, some GIF images get displayed properly, while others have
their colors displayed oddly (eg, all in blue).

Any ideas why? Different types of GIF? If so, how to identify these and/or
convert these en mass to an MC-palatable GIF format?
