Another option for an MC plugin

An interesting idea.  The biggest hurdle might me the
interaction/relationships of movie files, their properties, and the
scripting that is Javascript-based.  You may still wind up with the same
argument: if you have to go through all the trouble to convert MC to Flash,
why not just build in Flash in the first place.

On a related note: I may have misread this but I believe with FlashMX/6 the
once tiny player download is now up to about 1MB.  To my mind, this places
download of the MC engine on similar ground in terms of a "player"
footprint.  Admittedly, the browser-based setup is not as simple, but the
similar filesize requirements may be of use to some folks.
