Selecting an application

An FYI to the list: Richard and I worked this out last night and it's
something so easy, we both overlooked it:

  answer file "Pick an app:" of type "APPL"

It turns out that in OS X, this filter is special to the OS, and it
allows you to see and select apps of all different types (Cocoa,
Carbon/Mach-O, Carbon/CFM and Classic).
