FWIW, there was just such a product some years ago for Hypercard: try a
google search on "LiveCard". I think Royal Software may still carry it (Ro,
you around?). Of course, I'm sure something more compelling could be done
with Metacard, but LiveCard did *some* things well if I recall.

I think this poses an interesting question: Would it be possible to generate
DHTML on the fly using an MC CGI to translate stack?
