3D Expertise?

Is anyone on the list versed in 3D calculations?  Specifically, I'm
wondering if anyone has any knowledge about converting 2D layouts, say like
a floorplan, to a simple 3D rendering, and if they have built anything in MC
that does this.  Please contact me off list.
