Printing all cards

I can print each card separately, but if I try to
print all cards of a stack, the program crashes. This
on both Mac and Win platforms. My stack is 8"x10", and
I'm printing one bkg field a little smaller than the
stack rect.
This doesn't work:

repeat with x =1 to number of cds
print cd x
end repeat

nor does:
repeat with x =1 to number of cds
go cd x
print this cd
end repeat

Any ideas?
