print in Linux

Halo, MC/Linux experts,

could someone help me, how to force the print stack to print with dialog
in Linux?

I modified a little the print stack of  "Sjoerd Op 't Land"
<sjoerdoptland at mac.com> . It works fine on the Mac, but does not so in
Linux.
Is there any helpful soul out there, please contact me, an I send You
that stack, so You could have a look on it and maybe could get it to
work perfectly in Linux like on the Mac.
