Hello Andu,

On the first hand, PHP is a very fine web-dedicated tool and i use it in
any of my MC-based web apps as sockets-listener to link MC (as long
process, not as cgi), one side to Apache, second side to rdbms servers
or others specialised apps. On the second hand, Metacard is many more
than a very fine development tool : it's the onest programming language
usable to build both C-like, Director-like, FileMaker-like, Java-like,
or Kylix-like apps. Aside web apps, i use it (for exemple) to build
statitics and analysis tools to extract datas about the french K-18
students school results.

PHP is one more good specialised tool, alike Perl, Rexx or Python are.
MC is surely lots more than a very good programming environment and i
could'nt never replace it by any other available tool in my dayly
works... MC give us the power to convert the best ideas and concepts in
shorts, stables and very suitables production programs.
