yes, I know. But chicken little believes everything he hears and  
lives for the rhyme, not considering the words.  I was hoping to  
encourage others to do the research.   Thanks Scott!

I also heard a not so cute rendition of 'and to the republic for  
which it stands'  .....some kids misheard it as

"where witches stand"..........hmmm.

Birdy was confused.  Ring a Ring A Rosies is about the Black Death
(plague).  Consider the lyrics.  "Ring a ring a rosy" - the first
sign of the illness, red blotches.  A pocket full of posies - thought
in the middle ages to cure the disease.  Atish you a atishyou - second
level illness - the sneezes and wheezes as the lungs are damgaged -
