Safari wouldn't open it (or a number of other similar links, either, for
that matter) no matter how many times I tried.

I finally downloaded Firefox and it downloaded it, but after a while it
wouldn't, either.

I think my laptop has serious hardware issues...

If you are interested in additional similar articles, please let me know.
I am this term teaching a general education course on "The Computer Impact
on Society", and am searching for some articles that explore multimedia
and the web vis-a-vis diminished learner outcomes with respect to the
compartmentalization of information/diminished ability to link related
information together in a linear and both inductive and deductive
reasoning.  You know, the 'info byte' phenomenon.
