i do not have access to Mac OS X to check by
myself all these error messages. 

Could you send me a screenshot of these error 
messages along with the descriptions that you

If i understand well, these option stacks opens
over the drawing stack. After you set the options
that you want, like number of polygon sides or
round corner radius, you had to close the option
stack. if you refer to the dialog stack that
says "SelectedGroupedControl is false", this is
only informative and you had to close it after 
reading the message.

if you open it from the stack "StartPen.mc",
you had two options for:
USER: open pentol.mc as a palette
Developer: open pentol.mc as a toplevel stack
to view and edit the scripts.
