Please explain. Is it the same StartWrite
program that I found on the web that teaches penmanship?
Mark,
Yes, it is. I just love that you can make up sentences beyond the
Zippy variety (the possibilities are endless).....
Just an example though, not to be compared in any way with Runtime.
At the moment, doing something like that in Rev
seems to be beyond my skill.
That's how I feel, and you are oceans beyond me in Rev skill level!
One idea that could work is to list three or four different options
for an author's quote and get the student to pick the one they think
the author really wrote. The idea being, if they can recognize good
writing, they may very likely improve their writing. And they are
likely to remember some of the more thoughtful passages. I remember
reading in Franklin's autobiography that he used to copy passages
from the paper and rewrite them until he could make them better. I
realize that's more than you were up for at the present! But it
doesn't hurt to think of version 1 through 5 when you've gotten
version 1 so close to the product level.
